December 17, 20169 yr Flying my new Carenado Baron B58 in FSX and am tring to understand what the de-icing pressure gauge is suppose to show. The needle moves all over the place, and I'm not sure what it's telling me when it moves. Is it suppose to show me when I need to turn on the icing switches? December 18, 20169 yr I think this is a typical Carenado/Alabeo thing. The gauge is there, but it does not function as it would in a real aircraft, it's just eye candy. Also note the switches for de-icing, there is a space for selecting manual or automatic surface de-ice, but no switch even though the Carendao B-58 Baron 3-D model has surface de-icing boots. When flying at night you will also find that the comm selector and, if I recall correctly, the DME have no back lighting/self-illumination. Oops! Just another Carenado/Alabeo unfixed bug.
