Fresh FSX-Boxed Install - Missing Flights, Missions, etc

Featured Replies

Hi all.  I am ditching FSX-SE to go back to FSX Boxed-Acceleration.  (I missed the PMDG JS4100 too much).

I have just finished the initial install of FSX Deluxe, and I see that the flights and missions and all that are not in the MY Documents/Flight Simulator X Files folder like they should be.  The folder is there and just contains logbook.bin and nothing else.

Shouldn't all that stuff have been installed in a fresh install?  I installed into my SSD drive, D:FSX.  Could that have something to do with it?

Thanks!

I also answered on the other site.  I just looked in my folder that you mentioned.  I have No Missions in there but just

the flights that I have created over the years plus the current Logbook.bin.  You have just done a new install so you

need to start creating your flights again for anything to be in there besides Logbook.bin.  I forgot..the

default flight hides in there too!

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Thanks Charlie.  I think I am getting it figured out.
