January 21, 20179 yr Author Its really a shame there is no way to brighten up the cockpit/world with HDR set to off.. as when its off, the shimmering is greatly reduced. Perhaps something like Maxx fx would help (i'm testing it currently to find out).. Unfortunately, MaxxFx had NO effect on XP 11 in the goggles (but the on screen window it did). Its unfortunate they didnt have a trial first, oh well.. it was worth a shot Asus Strix z790-e; 1000 watt evga SuperNova Plat; 14900k AC_LL 0.55 adp -0.050 253/253/355 CEPoff (CB-1pass 39200 80c, msfs peak 92,avg 60-78c, astrorender 95c,room76F); 64GB(dual 32) cl32 6400 at 6400 xmpII F5-6400J3239G32GX2-TZ5RK, Asus Ryuo III 360mm; Thermaltake v51 Case; Gigabyte 4090 OC; VR-Crystal; Dofreality H6; Astrosite
January 28, 20179 yr Author Updated to pb9, now flyinside launches to an initial black screen. If u guess click resume flight then it becomes visible. A bit frustrating. Reinstall of fi didn't help Asus Strix z790-e; 1000 watt evga SuperNova Plat; 14900k AC_LL 0.55 adp -0.050 253/253/355 CEPoff (CB-1pass 39200 80c, msfs peak 92,avg 60-78c, astrorender 95c,room76F); 64GB(dual 32) cl32 6400 at 6400 xmpII F5-6400J3239G32GX2-TZ5RK, Asus Ryuo III 360mm; Thermaltake v51 Case; Gigabyte 4090 OC; VR-Crystal; Dofreality H6; Astrosite
February 27, 20179 yr I enjoy Xplane 11 with Flyinside. Except I'm seeing transparent window overlays when I pass through cloud layers. I recorded the experience in Twitch to provide a visual experience: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/125217859 (not sure if link will be allowed in here 'new member') I'm hoping someone else has experienced this or if anyone has recommendations. I've experienced this issue using default Xplane 11 cloud system, I also have Skymaxx Pro installed. It only seems to occur when I'm 'within an overcast layer' or 'transitioning through a cloud'. As I can fly around with clouds above or below and not see the occluded window layers. Don't know if it's Flyinside or Xplane. I suppose i could fly Xplane native without Flyinside and try it.
