FSX SE gets stuck at "Generating Scenery File Indexes"

I started up FSX:SE today at it always gets stuck at "Completing setup: Generating scenery file indexes" on 0% completion. It won't change. I've tried deleting the SceneryIndex files from the ProgramFiles Microsoft folder, but it is not working. What could be the issue?


UPDATE: It now gets to 94% but is still stuck.

Run FSX-SE as Administrator?

 

As far as I can remember, FSX can't access the scenery.cfg (or any other file in %appdata%\Microsoft\FSX\* or files on C:\ for that matter) without elevated rights...
