ATC does occasionaly not respond to the Copilot

Featured Replies

When the copilot changes frequency and tries to establish contact with the ATC it can happen that the ATC will not respond back causing you to lose contact with the ATC if you're not around.

I noticed the same thing but ATC always contacted me at the next point.

Something similar happened to me: I lost communication with ATC after taking off. With Tower frequency put, I receive request to change to Center, in 124.5. I make the change, communicate position and receive the error "check frequency". I was not wrong to set the frequency.

I tried to retrieve the communication, contacting the nearest approach frequency ... after two or three attempts, and when I gave it for lost (I still received "check frequency" despite having good frequency), I received "radar contact " of app freq. Then I asked for change frequency to center, I tuned the frequency provided and I was able to recover the communication.

I was able to continue with the flight without further incidents. The FP was: LEZL BUDI1R BUDIT UM445 ETURA UT252 XEBAR UM985 ASTRO ASTR3J LEVC
