P3D Help for Newbie - very distraught.

Recommended Posts

I am very distraught now and can use some advice.  My FSX crashed and no way to get it to work.  So I installed P3D.  I am tying to get the parking brake off they won't release.  I have Satiek Pedals.

I can't get nose steering and don't see it in menus.  So I want to install FSUIPC,but FSUIPC want to install it in FSX.  How do I get FSUIPC into P3D??

The brake axis usually needs to be reversed in FSX/P3D, so whichever axis you are using for brakes (pedals, etc) tick 'reverse axis' in the settings page. Otherwise the brakes will be on constantly.

Nose steering should just work as you steer normally. Only the Q400 (to my knowledge) requires a separate axis for it. FSUIPC will install automatically when you run the installer. If you previously had FSX it will see it in your registry and pop up a warning, just hit next, or cancel or whatever.
