December 10, 200520 yr Anyone tried the demo yet from http://mytraffic2004.com/version4/?It consists of an .exe file in a zip which is supposed to do everything painlessly. I can see a new traffic file in the world/scenery folder, but I am not seeing any new aircraft at Seattle. Just the same ole Landmarks, Soars etc.Peeping inside the .bat files which it installs in fs9 root folder, it should have renamed the old traffic bgl to a .passive file suffix. It doesn't look as if it did, so both old and new traffic bgl files exist in the world/scenery folder. Does this matter?I suspect I have missed some other extra installation steps. --Bryn
December 10, 200520 yr Author Did you let the batch file run after installation? You should have seen a DOS window open and text that would indicate as each part of the traffic portions were assembled and then transfered into your FS2004 scenery world scenery subfolder, this would have taken a few minutes. If you didn't see that happen you can try running the install again, you might have some corruption in your demo download and need to download a fresh copy. You can also post on MyTraffic's support forum where you're likely to get more help.Zane Dr Zane Gard Sr Staff Reviewer AVSIM Private Pilot ASEL since 1986 IFR 2010 AOPA 00915027 American Mensa 100314888

Does this matter? The demo for MyTraffic2006 leaves the default traffic there, just adds six of the 161 aircraft with their flightplans worldwide. Since these six are airliners you should go to larger and busier airports and in with the default traffic you should see some new refreshing faces and paintschemes. I reread your post so I think my earlier answer was assuming you didn't see the other traffic files.Zane Dr Zane Gard Sr Staff Reviewer AVSIM Private Pilot ASEL since 1986 IFR 2010 AOPA 00915027 American Mensa 100314888
