Kittyhawk 737-800 FS9 Fatal Errors

Featured Replies

The 737-800 aircraft by "Kittyhawk" cause an FS9 fatal errorwhen I open/close the FS9 Change Payload applet > regardlessof whether I make any enties at all. I'm having no problemswith any other aircraft > including the other 737 models. Hasanyone else experienced this? Also the battery switch key presswith these -800 planes is inop. The same symptoms occur when I start up FS9 with the default aircraft, and then switch to the 737-800. BTW, really nice looking -800s by Kittyhawk. Hope that I cansort out the probs. Thanks for lookin'Ken Boardman

hi ken, same problem here. i can can adjust the fuel but not the payload so i just leave it alone. it looks pretty much on the light side as far as weight goes, from what i remember. william

As I recall, this one had more than 50 load stations in the aircraft.cfg file. Reduce the number to below 50 and things should be OK. While you're in the file set electric_always_available to 0 and the battery switch should work...DJ

To William and DJ,Thanks very much for your insight and tips. I'll try them tonightand let you know how it goes.Best regards,Ken

You're welcome... by the way, if you go over to flightsim.com and do a search for kl737fde.zip you can get the last updated FDE's and config files for the aircraft. They may also be here - search for Fogler.

I tested the suggestions and they ALL worked for me. I've chosento use the updated Kittyhawk fde solution. I am very happy withit. Thanks again,Ken
