VPilot 2.0 - many 'unknown' aircraft due to model matching

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've started using version 2.0(.11) of VPilot recently because the automatic model matching seemed great. However I find that way more aircraft now get the 'unknown' tag in FSX:SE. This also happens with the same type of aircraft on the same airline, where one is spawning in correctly and the other one will show up as 'unknown' during the same session...

Does anyone know a fix for this? I'm using all World of AI packages.

Thanks in advance!

Use the VMR generator to generate a new MM set and set that as your priority rule set. See your results then.    Since using the VMR generator, it's solved alot of my mismatches.

I've used vPilot 2 since it was released (not the beta) and I have not had any issues of unknown aircraft.

Yes you can still use VMR Generator to create a custom rule of your own for your aircraft and use it in higher priority but I have not found the need for it.

Also consider posting in the vPilot dedicated forum in case you get more help since the developer reads there. In there you will find FAQ, troubleshooting guide etc. that may help you.
