The kernelbase.dll error is your computer system.  P3D just happened to be running at the time.  If you are overclocked, then go back to the optimized defaults.  I see nothing wrong with the installation of P3D.  I cannot believe removing the two dll.xml's did not fix your problem.

Jim

my processor runs at 4.0GHZ stock. i havent over clocked it. and i reformat it every 2 years. i do not know why its pulling a kernal base error. I went through my app data folder, and did happen to find the dll.xmlbeforeaddonmanager.xml was there, so i just erased the last .xml.

As you can see from the AVSIM CTD Guide and some of the solutions for fixing this problem as I found on the Internet, no one knows what caused their kernelbase.dll error.  They investigated.  They tried some of the things I posted in the CTD Guide and that fixed it for them so I listed it as a possible fix.  For others, like you, none of their fixes work and you are still "investigating".  P3D places a lot of stress on your system resources when settings are set high and that could have triggered the crash.  I have a new system overclocked to 5.0GHz and I am running P3D with the default settings except I turned on AI and turned off HDR and shadowing (a resource hog)(not HDR, shadowing).  Fantastic graphics.  I haven't touched the display card graphic settings yet but see no need to do so.

Best regards,

Jim

I have turned off HDR. What I seem to need to do is every 4 hrs save the flight, close out of the sim, clear the ram, and continue the flight where I saved off
