Zurich Scenery

Featured Replies

Jonny, funny you shoudl ask this, as I wondered myself the other day - as I do about every other week, as I badly want a good add-on scenery for Zurich! Sim-Wings have cancelled their ZRH project after finding out about this one. It would be a pity if now after all it wouldn't be relaased. I am sure Sim-Wings would have finished by now....Hope we get some encouraging news.Chris

Hi This scenery is long overdue. Please also refer to my posting in another thread here in the AVSIM forum just a few days ago:quoteZurich airport - quite a big airport in Europe - has been neglected for a long time both by payware and freeware developers. There is an old payware scenery by Flylogic, but it does not meet FS2004 standards and it is even bad on frame rates. The same goes for a freeware scenery by Mohler.Everybody here in Europe/Switzerland is waiting for a new LSZH scenery by Marcel Felde (www.digital-aviation.de), which was already announced last April. I am now not sure anymore whether it will payware or freeware, however the screenshot looked absolutely fantastic:http://www.simflight.de/modules.php?name=N...rticle&sid=5380 Unfortunately it has become very quiet about this project, allthough it was annouced for a release in summer. About in September or October the author posted in a German speaking forum that there will be some news soon, however, we are still waiting for that. Actually the delay is now really becoming frustrating for simmers who are waiting for this release.unquoteThis was a week ago and there are no news since then. Also in the Digital Aviation Forumhttp://www.digital-aviation.de/ewpforum/index.phpthere are unfortunately no news from the author.RegardsWalter
