NGX causes error in P3D

Featured Replies

I noticed that the NGX causes an error in P3D v3.4.18, I keep getting a whole row with:

[Error.0]

Error=Unable to create effect '(null)'

When I removed the NGX, the error was gone and when I reinstalled the NGX, the error came back.

I just did a complete Fresh install, from a fresh Win10 up, and the only addons on there are NGX and QotS II.

Is there any advise on how to handle this, or can I just ignore this error?

Cheers!

Turn off error logging.

Hi Kyle,

I just took the plunge and got Prepar3D 3.34.22 (adios FSX!).  Then I installed my beloved PMDG 737NGX and I am also getting this error (see quote above).  I understand turning off error logging will  hide the error but I would like to know what is causing the error and fix it instead.  Any ideas what this means?

Thanks,

I'm assuming you've installed the P3D version into P3D, and have not simply attempted to shoehorn the FSX version into it, right?
