I've not long bought this and I'm still kind of tweaking my controls a bit.

I don't know if this is supposed to happen or if I have a conflict. when I select my reverse thrust  my speedbrakes automatically go to full up regardless of weather they are armed or not.Can someone tell me if this is normal or not. I am still plowing through the manuals but have not come across this yet,so I don't know if I can disregard it and carry on, or do I have to start looking for a conflict.

Good question.

 

If:

• Weight on wheels == TRUE
• TLA on 1 or 3 == 0 (within a margin of error); and
• Reverse lever on 2 or 4 >= idle reverse

Then the spoilers will deploy regardless of arming or not.

 

Arming simply makes them deploy at weight on wheels and TLA on 1 or 3 being at or near 0.
