February 11, 20179 yr Is there a setting whereby I can set PrecipitFX to ignore a specific aircraft and not add effects to it ? Hellenic vACC - Olympic Aegean Virtual Prepar3D 5.3 | CPU i9 10900K | VGA: RTX 3070 | RAM: 32GB DDR4 | Monitor: 3440x1440
February 12, 20179 yr Author OK understood. If I delete the entries in aircraft.cfg does running PrecipitFX via VFXCentral reinstall them ? I ask so that I know whether I need to remember each time to go an manually delete all the //FSFX_PFX_Effect My issue is FSLab's Concorde-X which has "vaportrail" and "wingtipvortice" effects which are integral to this great add on and PrecipitFX by adding its custom ones it renders them invisible somehow (even though not disabled). February 12, 20179 yr Commercial Member If you have "Override existing settings" checked when installing, it will override any configuration you put in the cfg file. If it is unchecked, you can add the vaportrail_l, contrail etc. lines and PrecipitFX will not override them. Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
November 27, 20178 yr I take it that if one had the "Override existing settings" checked at install then at a later time removed the check mark and re-ran VFX it will return the original setting/s?
