disk io activity

Recommended Posts

I have CP on my e: SATA drive and can see in Process Lasso that it's doing about 69 mbps io on it (constant drive chattering) and causing a bit of slow down in P3D from time to tine.  What causes that and how can I reduce it?

Hi,

From what I understand, I/O variables in Lasso indicates transactions between any I/O devices on the computer (HDD, RAM etc.). Unless you are doing an Airport Scan, ChasePlane does not write anything to the disk. We only read config files at launch or when a manual request is made.

I am getting ~60mbps on the I/O indication in Lasso but zero in the Task Manager when checking for Disk usage.

Best Regards,

Keven
