December 26, 200520 yr I have a strange problem while tuning ADF in default planes such as King Air 350, Learjet, Boeing 737. I do not have any problem with Cesna 172, 182, Bravo etc...This is the problem. I prepare the flight on airport parking and tune the ADF. So far so good. But before the take off and after take off the ADF is tuned on 104. And no way to change it. As soon I change one figure it will come back to 104. The only way I found out how to be able to tune ADF is to quickly reload the plane. Luckily all the various previous tuning are saved. Then I can fly the plane without anymore ADF problem.Has anybody else had this problem and does anybody know how to cure it permanently ?Roger Roger See my specs in my profile
December 27, 200520 yr Author Hi Roger,Just tried it with the Lear. Created a flight at KBFI, set the ADF to 353 and it stayed through takeoff with no problem.Do you have the same problem it you start with the Cessna, then switch aircraft to the others?John
December 27, 200520 yr I do not have that problem with Cesna 172, 182, Money Bravo.I do have it with Citation, Learjet, B737, King Air. These default aircrafts have the same panels layout. If after the ADF tuning is stuck at 104 I just need to reload the same default aircraft and from there I can go on with my flight up to the end with no problem. December 29, 200520 yr I have found the problem. As no one except you answered me I must be the only one with the problem.First I have FS9, ASV6, Radar Contact among other things plus a small module for push back. The module itself doesn't seem to create any problem. But once I request voice in it the ADS tuning jumps to 100 or 104 and no way to tune it. If/when I disable the voice option the tuning is again available.I suppose that with RC on, the FS ATC off, something somewhere (FSUIPC ?) gets mixed with this voice option. Now that I know what it is I can avoid it or ignore it temporarily.Roger Roger See my specs in my profile
