I'm embarrassed.... 

I just slapped the new logo on the tail and didn't even look close enough to the pics if the brown background was painted or it was blank, using the background of the ail itself.  

Here is the completed tail, with a lot of detail work done to the logo (including a bunch of effort to pull the reflections on the brown paint on top of the logo...not an easy thing.  One day when I retire I'll pass on all the tricks I've learned about painting planes, hehe.)
