Blank Screen.....Again

Featured Replies

Okay, maybe I'm just a bit GPS challenged but, even though my 750 Touch GPS worked before, now that I've updated to version 2..4, I get a blank screen again.

Now I should mention that I fly XP10 exclusively and refuse to upgrade to XP11 until all the beta testing is done and that I did experience a hard disk failure last week and had to reinstall most everything. But, after all that, the GPS was working just fine; right up until I had a brain fart and updated to v2.4.

Am I the only one experiencing this?  It's driving me nuts and any help would be most appreciated.

Let's try to help you: can you please first post the content of "my documents\rxpGtnSim.dll.log" and "my documents\rxpGTN.dll.log"?

Hello Jean-Luc,

Unfortunately, I can't because all I have in that file are: My documents\Nonvol\gnsw_430.mem and gnsw_530.mem.  Nothing else.  No .dll or log files at all.

This can't be good.

I did find these three files in the documents folder but down with the other files.  I can't post them here as attachments because all this forum will let me post are gif, jpeg, jpe, or png files.

The Gns and Gtn_Sim files are dated 2015 and probably left over from my old FSX Gtn 430 and 530 installations and probably not much use to us (I loaded my whole Documents file from the old hard drive)

There is an XPL file dated yesterday; rxpGtn.xpl.  The contents are as follows: 17/02/28 18:35:00.702 02308 -    ] # win.xpl version 2.4.0.0 .

Probably not much help but it appears to be all I have.

So, what's next?  Re-install?

I've just posted the links to the v2.4.1 release candidate. You might want to try this new version first.

I have to admit, I didn't think it would work but it worked just fine for me in XP10 and I'm running Windows 7 Professional.

Thanks for the help again Jean-Luc
