March 5, 20179 yr Just completed a 9.5 hour flight from Melbourne YMML to Honolulu PHNL in a Qantas 747-400 RR model. The default PFPX profile and flight plan was extremely accurate. PFPX calculation had a flying time of 09:29 and 102.3 ( KG ) of Fuel burn. My actual fight was 09.39 and 102.6 fuel burn Pete Richards I've owned every version of flight simulator since Flight Simulator 3.0 in 1988. Windows 11 Pro loaded on a 4TB Gen5 Crucial T700 SSD, 4TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD, Ryzen 9 7950x3d, AS Rock X670e Taichi Motherboard, Gigabyte Gaming RTX 4090 OC 24GB, 64GB (2x32GB) Viper Venom DDR5-6000MT/s, MSI 32" MAG 321UPX QD-OLED 260hz 4K Gaming Monitor.
March 5, 20179 yr I've struggled with this for months. My experience is that my fuel burn, given reliable winds, can vary +/- 6% but usually falls within 3%. Note that the default PFPX profiles do not include the -400ER which has different engines that other variants; however, these can be found in their downloads forum. Dan Downs KCRP
