March 7, 20179 yr Hi, Quick question that's been bugging me. How come the pilot2atc app never gives me altimeter information? When i file a flight plan, and request clearance, taxi, takeoff i never get the altimeter setting. Also, if during in flight, I use PTT and do a Say Altimeter, it tells me altimeter information is not available. In case this matters, i have the pilot2atc provides atis information checkbox unchecked. Not sure if that matters though as it gives me pretty much everything else i need in the clearance. Thanks, Joe
March 7, 20179 yr Commercial Member Joe, If P2A does not have access to the Weather Info, it will not give the altimeter setting. Try checking your settings on the WX tab of config. Set it to SIM or NOAA Weather and you will likely start getting it. If you already have it set to SIM and you use X-Plane, be sure you have the right X-Plane Root folder set in the SIM Weather box below the Weather Source box. Dave
March 7, 20179 yr Author Hmm, ok, so I had the sim weather set, but i did not have the xplane root folder set. I set the folder to the root xplane folder, and i'm still not getting altimeter readings. The sim is setup for real world weather btw, not sure if that matters. Joe
