March 13, 20179 yr Dave, Can I enter a callsign without the aircraft type being required. For example, in Australia a typical callsign such as VH-ABC is referred to only as alpha bravo charlie and does not include beech or cessna. I'm having trouble getting the speech recognition to accept cessna but I'll keep practicing if required. On another note, I am getting a windows generated "jingle" everytime ATC responds ? Was this the problem with the latest update?
March 13, 20179 yr Commercial Member You can enter the call sign as Cessna VHABC and then say Victor Hotel Alpha Bravo Charlie as your call sign and P2A should recognize it. Or use Cessna Alpha Bravo Charlie or just Alpha Bravo Charlie. You must enter the call sign as directed in the user guide, but it is flexible as to how it is used. The "jingle" is an option that you can turn off. It should be sounding when pilot or SayIt speech is recognized. If you don't want it to sound, just uncheck the Speech Recognized Tone "Play Tone" option on the Btns tab of Config. Dave
