Mitsubishi MU-2 Max Demonstrated Crosswind ?

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

Did a couple of flights with the MU-2 over the weekend - P3D v3.4 - latest model of MU-2...

I was testing in a 17 knot crosswind - the max demonstrated is quoted as 22 knots...

Unable to hold the runway centerline due to lack of rudder authority - I had to ride the respective brakes to stay on the runway... Anyone else notice this ?

I was planning to tweak the rudder in the aircraft.cfg - anyone have numbers that work ?

Might want to look at this if there is ever an update...

Note: Was there ever a fix for the extremely dim GTN screen in the panel ?

Regards,

Scott

Did you still have flaps extended? If yes, how much? I think higher crosswind requires less flaps than usual.

Hi Thomas,

I'm still in figuring everything out mode to see if I like it - so I haven't invested the time to read any operational guides yet - I've been using one notch of flaps...

Regards,
Scott
