Am I missing something or it's no longer possible to create/edit a post's HTML content directly?

There are limitations in the visual editor that I need to circumvent using HTML code but I can't seem to find an option for it.

HTML code is dangerous and is not permitted by default.  I will give you the ability to post HTML coding.
