April 2, 20179 yr Given that Carenado manuals are spotty with respect to in-sim usage. Am I missing a clickspot somewhere to have the 2D autopilot panel come up? Panning down and up over and over again is "no bueno." Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.
April 2, 20179 yr I use the default key combination CTR + 2 (or maybe it was CTLR + 3) if I remember correctly. Haven't used the sim in a while so I don't remember exacty.
April 2, 20179 yr Author Hi Scarp, Thanks. I have been using that key combo CTRL + 2, but I was hoping there was a clickspot too. Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.
April 3, 20179 yr I know, there should have been a "easy access" hidden clickspot so you didn't have to look down (for us using panning with the joystick it takes forever) between the seats or uses key combinations. If you have a spare button on your controls you could tie it to SHIFT + 2 too. I think I wrote the wrong key comb earlier ha ha, it should've been SHIFT instead of CTRL. Just thought I'd throw it out there so before I get chastised.
April 4, 20179 yr There appears to be a click spot to hide the 2D pop-up panel. Just above the NAV/HSI button, right next to the screw. But that same click spot on the VC view does not pop-up the panel. - Mark Manacsa Most of the flight simulation community is pretty toxic and gets easily worked up about little things. Just go into it knowing that.
May 1, 20179 yr Author Yet another bundle of messy inconsistency. They will no doubt move on to some new half-complete model soon. Then, they will release a Vx of the same model and introduce a new hot mess of inconsistencies.
