April 8, 20179 yr Crashes on P2A are expected occasionally so how do you pickup where you left off if you're in mid-flight? After I load P2A again, load the flight plan it thinks I'm starting at the departure airport again? Any advice?
April 8, 20179 yr Commercial Member Generally if you are en-route before being given arrival instructions you can recover after a crash as follows: Load and "validate" the initial flight plan in P2A Connect to the sim and be sure your aircraft is on course "File" Flight Plan - this gives it to ATC as the current flight plan Find the nearest ATC Center or Approach/Departure frequency and request a frequency change to Center Make an initial Center call like you would if you had been transferred to a new Center "<CallSign> at flight level 290", for example You should be asked to squawk a new code After entering the new transponder code, if you get "Radar Contact", you should be good to go. April 11, 20179 yr Occasionnaly this is not enough to properly recover a fully functionnal ATC. It happened that the next WP selected by P2A is not the one you are flying to. Here is a workaround one can try: after the initial contact, ask a direct to procedure to your next aircraft FMS active waypoint using <callsign> requests direct to <ICAO WP> Roland MSFS my local airport release: LFOR Chartres-Metropole MSFS Plugins RAAS (registered FSUIPC7 required) MSFS FX for Objects & Landmark in France (Steam and smoke) and Aerial coverage for French nuclear sites
