FSX Won't Start After One Usage

Featured Replies

So let's say I exit out of FSX for a while, and then I want to go back into it. Unfortunately, after I've used it once, it won't let me go back into it. I have FSX SE, and it gives me a message saying the app is already running, which it's not. I have to restart my laptop just so it can be refreshed and to have access to it. This problem has been happening ever since I installed Chase Plane, does anyone know any solutions on how to fix this?

Hi,

Do you have VFXCentral or ChasePlane running in the background?

No I don't, normally what happens is when I exit out of FSX, ChasePlane just closes itself as well. It would seem normal because it opens when I open FSX. VFXCentral is never opened when I'm on the game.

I have the same issue but it's caused by VFXCentral. VFX launches even if the option is set to off (don't load with simulator). I guess it is automatically triggered by ChasePlane.

@TripleHydroGTXAfter you launch FSX, have a look on the notification icons in the taskbar near the clock (you might have to press the little triangle to show all running apps. I'm 100% sure you will  find the "Cloud" icon from VFXCentral. You have to right-click it and close it. Your FSX will launch again with no problem.

Regards.
