I have been using Chaseplane for sometime now and absolutely love it!  Can't fly without it but I have an unusual problem.  With the latest updates I have noticed that the Middle Mouse View Selector has been occasionally popping up behind FSX Steam Edition which makes it impossible to switch views.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Chaseplane and have also attempted resetting to factory defaults to no avail.

An interesting problem to say the least and hoping that maybe you have a solution.  This only appeared to happen a few days ago.

Are you using FSX in Windowed Mode or Fullscreen mode?

Hi Kevin;

I am using it in windowed mode.  When FSX and Chaseplane start I am okay but if I minimize FSX then the Middle Button View Selector will open up behind FSX.

This is the report generated by Chaseplane.  Maybe you can see something in here that is amiss and causing the Middle Mouse Viewer to appear behind the FSX windows.

Hi Rick,

are you able to bring other windows abive the FSX window??

Yes.  If I bring the main UI of Chaseplane I can drag it on top of the FSX Window.  It appears to only be the Middle Mouse Button View Selector that drops behind and that can be intermittent.  I have to appear okay and then to only start doing it again after several minutes.

I did some troubleshooting tonight and here is what I have come up with.  The Middle Mouse Viewer works fine as long as I don't go to any other window.  For example if I go to make an entry into another FS related program such as Cielosim Live ATC then when I return to Flightsim the Middle Mouse View goes to the back of FSX and will only return to the top if I shut down and restart Chaseplane.

As indicated worked without the issue occurring about until about a week ago.

 I was having this exact problem and still do. 

I was doing an aerosoft airbus flight and this problem persisted even with chaseplane restarts and fsx restarts.

Then i tried a pmdg 777 plane and it was solved. Back to aerosoft airbus a319 and problem continues.

 

Not sure what to make of it

Hey Keven as per my email still a problem.  I am now suffering from the same problem as another post that I have seen in that the Middle Mouse menu does not come up at all.  I did appear to have had an issue with the FSX menu but that seems to have rectified itself at this time.

I have the same problem, but only in full screen.  In windowed mode the middle mouse button works normally, but in full screen it doesn't work at all.  Please fix, thanks.

I did try to restart with no luck either.

FSX-SE and windows 10.

By the way, I'm on version 0.1.704 and the middle mouse button still doesn't work in windowed mode in FSX-SE.
