April 11, 20179 yr Hi Dijvid All the names of LFSB are the same airport in different languages. Do a search on internet "LFSB Airport" Wikipedia. Willy
April 11, 20179 yr One of the reasons for so many spellings is that although technically the airport is on French soil, the airport is jointly operated by France and Switzerland. Airlines and maintenance companies of Switzerland have been based there, notably Balair for many years, now succeeeded by Belair. April 11, 20179 yr Switzerland has three official languages, French, Italian and German. It is therefore a bit problematic in that for the Super VC10 model there are automatic code share cabin safety briefings in the local language as well as English. The ICAO code for the whole of Switzerland is LS and the code share message is in German! Even at Geneva which of course is in the French speaking part!!
