April 12, 20179 yr Hello guys, another strange visual FX with the AS A320. Upon ENG start, smoke exhaust comes out of the ACFT body (where the wing is attached) instead of the ENG itself. Strangely, the visual FX work well with A321... Regards, Gerald Gerald K. - Germany AMD 7800x3D / ASUS ROG X670E-Gaming / ASUS Strix RTX 3090 OC / 64 Gb RAM GSKILL. April 25, 20179 yr Commercial Member Hi Gerald, In the aircraft.cfg, you can replace the contrails references in the smokesystem with ours from the Effects section. There are no automated ways of doing it right now. Regards, Keven Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
April 26, 20179 yr Author Hello Keven, I thought I have done that (I read about it in a topic that AS did update theyre effects and you have to replace them with the new ones). I copied those entries but the effects were somehow centered to the fusselage. The other way around, the effects for the FSL A320 were wider (between engine and wingtipps). I'm currently reinstalling my complete system and will coma back later with a feedback. May 1, 20179 yr Author Hello Keven, I'm back to confirm that I indeed have replaced the Smoke System in the Aircraft.cfg with the right ones but newertheless the smoke still appeared from the fusselage but only at some of the aircrafts. Searching the web I fond in a Aerosoft forum that 1 aircraft.cfg has wrong coordinates inside: [GENERALENGINEDATA] // IAE & CFM ENGINES engine_type = 1 Engine.0 = 7.63, -19.04, -8.29 Engine.1 = 7.63, 19.04, -8.29 Instead of the middle value +/-19.04 it has something like +/- 7.xx. Changing that value did the trick. You can close this post. Thank you for your assistance. Gerald Gerald K. - Germany AMD 7800x3D / ASUS ROG X670E-Gaming / ASUS Strix RTX 3090 OC / 64 Gb RAM GSKILL.
