I would say on my side SSD defintively best improves  loading time of Orbx scenery.

Took my system to my tech guy this morning he checked it all out and really could not find anything wrong. Well I don't give up that easy. I got home and uninstalled Samsung Magician 4.9.7 (because Ver. 5 was not cooperating with my system). updated again to version 5 BUT this time it recognized my SSD and allowed me to turn on Rapid Mode, I then did a performance check and what a difference in results - see below.

However I still have not seen a significant increase in load my FSX-SE Saved Flight that I have been using as the test. I am getting a 15 second improvement - so I am partly happy but my quest continues...

Hi, not sure if you're aware of this or not, but your M.2 drive is an 850 Evo. This is merely a SATA SSD. It's not a PCIe SSD. In fact it's no different to a conventional 2.5 inch SSD you connect to a SATA port. So just curious why your installer went down the M.2 route rather than a 2.5 inch SSD. M.2 in this case provides no benefit over a conventional SSD.

In fact I recall the 850 Evo 2.5 inch drive is a bit cheaper.

For M.2 it makes more sense to go for a 960 Evo. M.2 PCIe. NVMe. Although much more expensive.

This isn't related to your speed issue of course, as you are upgrading from a mechanical drive so should see a benefit.
