May 21, 20179 yr Hi, Is it normal that immediately with switching ON a Flight Director (either left or right) the FMA displays TOGA in the pitch and roll mode? I never noticed it before and maybe after I installed a new joystick, something is not quite right with the key assignments. The key assignment in FSX-SE is: "CTRL + SHIFT + G", which I assigned a button on the throttle control (Saitek X52 Pro). However, in FSX also the next line: "V" is programmed and has the same joystick key assigned. I usually used TOGAthe following way: takeoff roll, engines stabilized at 50%, engage TOGA, full throttle. Thanks for help Brgds Juergen Mader
May 21, 20179 yr Hi, Yes it is normal. Have a look at the FCOMv2 page 4.10.3 (pdf p299) to have more details about how the FDs work. Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.
