May 24, 20179 yr Before I have to attempt reinstalling everything, anybody have any ideas why launching XP11 hangs at the first step "Will initialize plugins." ? i have no addons :(
May 24, 20179 yr You do not have to install everything, just do the following: Open the X-Plane installation directory Go to the Output folder / the Preferences folder. Delete all the files inside the /Preferences folder Restart X-Plane That may take care of the problem. If that does not help, try running the installer/update again, there may be a file missing. May 25, 20179 yr I have also just brought up Task Manager, and then highlighted XP11 which will show as 'not responding', and close it. Just start up XP 11 again, and most times you will sail right past the ini plug-ins and onto eventually, your chosen airfield. This with no deletion of files. I have had a few times where you get hung up at the plug-in ini routine, and by just shutting down and restarting XP11, has corrected the situation.
