New trees all over beaches on East coast...

Recommended Posts

Not good!  They need to clean up the tree layer, as an overlay to their DLC!

Right now, it looks terrible.

I think the original tree mask looked much better, more densely packed, and did not cover the beaches, or lakes, rivers, or ocean masks. How did this slip by the team, even if put out  upon the Beta channel?!?!?

Trees are even out in the water, in keys and bays...

I hope a fix is coming soon...before JV's release day:  June 15th!~

Try turning your trees to minimal.

I sure hope THAT isn't the solution, Mr. Hi! :bengong:

They buggered up badly...they need to fix immediately. The only way to cut down the trees on the beaches, and into the water masks, (for example around Mantalk) is to turn off the trees altogether. Do they know about this? The whole east strand has trees now all over the beaches, and a few leading into the water, from the mainland.  What did they do!??!?!?

That's not new, and has been explained several times before.......

I turned off the Trees Overlay altogether, and the photo-real forests in the scenery looks ten times much better, anyway. They need to do some cleaning up of the overlay, or it isn't gonna work....as is.

I've flown this area before..and it sure was NOT like this. I have turned off the tree overlay entirely, and the photo real forestry saves the day...

Actually, with the Tree Overlay turned off, I think the sim looks a heck of a lot better, for you see the actual forestry that is within the Photo Real...so...I guess that's my new M.O.  I guess that Orbx stuff will have all the tree autogen correctly placed over their tiles...and will look good.

Yes. But Ipacs will also be upping the accuracy of their tree placement as well. Most likely with osm.

Good to read, I'm sure they will make it look great.
