Why have a forum if we cannot respect its rules ?

Recommended Posts

Ladies and gentlemen,

I feel compelled to discuss this topic as it affects everyone- especially those who come to these forums looking to provide sound and solid information which will benefit our simming community.  And of course, to those who come looking for that information which will assist in their doubts and needs.

In the past 2 weeks, I have seen at least 5 threads locked due to the constant back and fort, arguing- and sometimes insulting-by several members. Why is this happening?  In particular it makes me upset as several of these posts contain valuable information.. and this especially considering P3D V-4 just rolled out.  Now, we are forced to scramble for those answers we desperately need as those very informative threes disappear.

-- How do we address repeat offenders? Not my call.. This, I leave it to the moderators.

"This is  great forum; let's keep it that way!"

Joe - I'm locking this, not because I disagree or you did anything improper. Your point is well made  but there are those who might wish to use it as a rallying point  to vent further.

We at Avsim take pride in trying to maintain a family friendly site that is the best repository of sim aviation information. We have many highly qualified individuals who take the time to share their expertise and it is sad that sometimes that information can get lost in childish middle school behavior.
