Q400 ARCDU question

Recommended Posts

I'm running the Maj Q400 in P3Dv3.4 (for now) with version 2.7.0.13.

What I am finding is that when in cruise and my FO has the comms he is dialing in all zero's when he's asked to change frequency. I have prompted him to change it and he does, but this seem so happen every time a frequency change is required.

anyone else getting this issue?

It's fine in v3.

Could be the Q400 isn't supported in V4 and/or MCE not yet "converted" to V4.

I suppose it's early days for V4?

Regards

David

Might have to do with the COM 1 auto-dial with PF3.

Unlike other supported aircraft where setting COM1 is done the same way (and via FSX/P3D SDK), with Q400, it's done via simulated clicks on ARCDU 2 D panel.

That includes bringing the panel into view and then pressing keys. Something FO might not be doing right now.

We'll probably have to look closer at that in the context of PF3.

Try it with other aircraft, like PMDG NGX.

Just to confirm that I have just tried this with the PMDG 738 and the radio tuning works fine, so it must be to do with the way the Majestic Dash has its radios tuned (2D panel method).

Lets hope it can be looked at when time permits.

Cheers Rob
