June 24, 20178 yr I installed the Carenado PC-12 today and it seemed to work OK with the new installers. When I closed the program, I noted that almost 800 content errors were generated! I can't fix them all - should I just ignore them? Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale
June 24, 20178 yr You can shut off the reporting. That's there for developers to use in testing. Go to Options-General-Applications tab and uncheck content error reporting. Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
June 24, 20178 yr Author Yeah, I think that is the best bet since I can't fix those and I'm sure the developer won't do so. But, I did read somewhere that the errors can cause some stuttering and/or other issues. Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale
June 24, 20178 yr The slack developers should use Content reporting before releasing , because if they just had takedn the time to look in the SDK ... "As a Prepar3D Solution Developer, it is essential to turn Content Error Reporting on while developing add-on content as every error or invalid implementation in content can slow down the overall program..." If we do nothing (at least point to this comment from LM) they will keep doing it. Jorge

Jorge Right - in this case, it seems that Carenado did the minimum possible to port current products to 64-bit and get them out the door, I'll report this to Carenado but will not expect much. You just have to think that that many errors will cause issues in the sim. Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale
June 25, 20178 yr Author Follow-up: I did get a response from Carenado support and they just said that "P3D consider an error when finds a code that is not the simulator's standard format and we modify those codes in order to get realistic systems, gauges and behavior." But, my concern was (and is) the fact that almost 800 errors may, as the SDK notes, "slow down the overall program." But, I don't think that I'll get anywhere with this issue for now.
