I know this has been beaten to death but...

Hi all, as the heading suggests, it's a topic that has been discussed a million times in the forums but I can find anything conclusive on what I am looking for: GA lighting.

Most of the topics deal with the PMDGs lighting or not lighting the surface, with dynamic on or off, with hdr on or off etc.

My problem is all my GA aircraft (all with v4 installers, A2A, Alabeo etc) simply do not light ANYTHING. I cannot see at all from the cockpit. I tried  turning lighting setting on/off/up/down but nothing helps (short of turning brightness setting to un-natural levels).

So, to your knowledge, is there any setting that can help the lighting on GA aircraft if they are not coded to use dynamic lighting?

Why not check out the A2A forums and see if anyone is talking about A2A Shockwave Lights and P3Dv4. Whether they do anything or if it's even worth the effort.

I think I remember this. The Carenado Phenom300 had the same issue you're describing and the workaround was to press the "L" key after turning on the landing lights. Carenado = Alabeo = Carenado so maybe they share the same code/problem.

The A2A planes all have dynamic lighting. Maybe you need to activate it in the Aircraft Configurator - that's in the start menu under A2A.
