P3Dv4 was bringing the 1080Ti's GPU to 70+ºC prior to "MSI Afterburner" had the fan profile adjusted. Now the GPU temp shows a max of between 50ºC and 54ºC.

I haven't had time to run any "tests" other than just normal observations made while running P3Dv4, FSW, and FSX:SE.

The i7 7700k has a 4.2 GHz clock speed, but I've noticed that while running the MSI Afterburner software, the CPU's clock speed is consistently 5.0+ GHz, and core temperature never exceeds 50ºC.

I have not attempted any "manual" overclocking but am leaving things strictly stock as received from the builder.

All eight processors are working pretty much balanced in task loads. I've made absolutely no changes in the prepar3d.cfg file.

The only "addon" to my three sims is the (shared) FS Global Ultimate Next Gen mesh w/ bathemetry (for P3Dv4). I'm feeling very comfortable about this pre-built computer system from Cyberpower (via Amazon).
