PTA.cfg and P3D.cfg

If I have a copy of someone's P3D.cfg as well as the PTA.ini file, how do I go about copying that into my sim without screwing things up?  Thanks!

The PTA file you can just copy into the proper location. The P3D file *MAY* cause you problems. You could make a backup of your current cfg file and then put the new one in its place but your sim may crash. 

Perhaps it would be better to just copy the relevant settings into your new file.
