July 9, 20178 yr I have added the GNS530/430 to a Carenado T210 and in the VC everything works great and all displays are fine. When I click on the display of the 530 I get the GPS window pop-up but the screen is blank. The controls on the pop-up control the VC screen, but no display on the pop-up. July 9, 20178 yr Commercial Member We have a web page that is a a "must read" when planning on doing your own panel additions for our 430/530 units: http://www.mindstaraviation.com/GNS_Retrofit.html . It explains everything you need to know about adding the entries and what each value represents The 5th parameter has 3 values that are critical in their values... and you have a mistake in the one you entered for the popup window. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
July 9, 20178 yr Author Thanks, I saw it and it fixed it. The last part of the third parameter must equal the window ident number. All is well now. I must say I really like the Mindstar product. I was able to setup control of the inner/outer right knob trough my Saitek radio panel, nice! Any work on upcoming updates like terrain or traffic? Thanks!

February 19, 20188 yr Hello, I believe I have the same problem that hsolano had with the GNS appearing with a blank screen. I have installed the GNS530/430 into the FSX default CRJ 700 to show in a pop up window only. The pop up window appears and the GNS unit appears as well, but the units screen is blank. All buttons and knobs work with the mouse clicks to change and swap frequencies, but nothing shows on the main screen. I have reinstalled the GNS, followed the online instructions to the letter, and double checked the coding in the panel.cfg file, and all seems correct. Any suggestions? Thanks.
