Some pics from a shakedown flight of my freshly restored Handley Page Hampden after departing Ardmore Airport - with a photo-op in front of the Auckland skyline :)

Fantastic flight, Mallard and a great plane to enjoy the scenery


Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds
