FSX Shakedown / Photo-op

Some pics from a shakedown flight of my freshly restored Handley Page Hampden after departing Ardmore Airport - with a photo-op in front of the Auckland skyline :)

Lining up with Waitemata Harbour ahead

Pulling up once the the Harbour Bridge was behind me

 

 

I love the shape of the exhaust...

 

 

Still gaining altitude and heading north

 

 

Rangitoto Island in the foreground, Motutapu in the background

 

 

Reached the clouds, engines running smoothly, crew complaining about the available space on board - everything going fine

 

 

Looping back over Waiheke Island

 

 

And Turanga Creek once again below us
