VC Panel black area lacking textures

Featured Replies

Noticed this Black area above PFD in VC Panel in Prepar3D v4, same area in Prepar3d v3.4 not there, both versions installed from same package. The area lacks detail and shading

Any thoughts

No solution found there...as mentioned only present in P3Dv4 not P3D v3.4 which were both installed using the same installer. My settings are high, I'm running a GTX 1060 on an i7 4790K, latest nvidia driver installed yesterday

The answer is present, everyone has it. The lighting shows it up differently, I'm guessing either you're not comparing like for like in the two sims, or your lighting settings are different, particularly HDR. But it is there.

Not seeing an issue here. Can you be more specific? Sounds like you're just referring to the fairing on the bottom of the glareshield.
