August 4, 20178 yr The latest update lists the following point: "Open windows/forward right door now admit exterior sounds to cockpit, fade in/out with aperture" So, when i am opening the cockpit window, the engines sound should increase? I have the newest update, but the volume does not change. (P3d v4) Does it work in your cockpit? Alexander Alexander
August 4, 20178 yr The update you mentioned was actually from a year ago, for the Xplane version of the DC-6 (Xplane has a much more robust sound engine that makes it easier for developers to allow exterior sounds to fade into interior etc.) The FSX/P3D version would require specific external coding (a la A2A) which apparently the DC-6 in FSX/P3D does not have yet.
