Operations on crossing/intersecting runways....Always a situation where you never implicitly trust the clearances of the controllers.  ALWAYS visually acquire and acknowledge any conflicting traffic ATC calls out.  If you don't see 'em at the DP, call no-joy and go-around!

In the situation in your screenshots, depending on the cockpit layout, that aircraft could have been hidden behind a window post, a passenger's head, etc.

Sadly, aviation has been cursed with many accidents/near misses in this scenario.  One near miss that was very chilling was this one: http://insider.foxnews.com/2015/06/18/2-planes-narrowly-avoid-collision-chicagos-midway-airport.

I can't imagine that sheer terror going through that controller's mind as he saw the 2 planes converging at that intersection! "Stop!, Stop!"  I bet that image is burned into his brain.
