August 7, 20178 yr Hi all- Can the GTN 750 GPS window be assigned a keyboard sequence to open and close vs clicking on the stack? I wouldn't mind substituting Shift + 2 to it instead of the stock GPS but don't know how to do it. Cheers, Mark
August 7, 20178 yr Moderator Yes. depends on which aircraft. Look in the panel.cfg file near the top. The "clickable" windows are usually listed. Whatever number is assigned to the GTN - use the next higher. So if panel says Window 06 = f1 gtn 750 etc..... you would use shift 7 to open the window. August 7, 20178 yr Author Hi Vic- It's the XtremePrototypes Lear. I'm not at home right now but will check it out when I get home. I think Bert had a panel cfg edit that put it into the panel but not sure. Thanks, Mark
August 7, 20178 yr In my case it assigns it to spot 13 in my A2A aircraft and therefore you can't use a keyboard shortcut. However I open the panel.cfg file for each specific aircraft and swap the contents of [window 4] with [window 13] because I don't open the default P3D maps. Also at the top of the config file I change the name of Window04=GTN 750 and make Window13=Map. This allows me to assign the maps key to open and close the GTN 750 I also assign that key using Voice Attack so I can open and close it with a voice command. Additionally I do the same for my A2A T6 using the GTN 650 Hope this helps Joe Joe (Southern California) System: I9-9900KS @5.1Ghz/ Corsair H115i / Gigabyte A-390 Master / EVGA RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid w 11Gb / Trident 32Gb DDR4-3200 C14 / Evo 970 2Tb M.2 / Samsung 40inch TV 40ku6300 4K w/ Native 30 hz capability / Corsair AX850 PS / VKB Gunfighter Pro / Virpil MongoosT-50 Throttle / MFG Crosswind Pedals / LINDA, VoiceAttack, ChasePlane, AIG AI, MCE, FFTF, Pilot2ATC, HP Reverb G2
