There is no STAR for Atlanta called "CAE", and as near as I can determine, no Atlanta STAR that includes CAE as a waypoint. Are you using Routefinder? If so, it often does that - i.e. it misidentifies the last waypoint in your regular route as the STAR name. If you are using CAE as a final route waypoint, the best STAR would be the SINCA6 arrival with the IRQ transition. August 9, 20178 yr Author I am using routefinder an this the route they gave me EHAM SID WOODY UN872 LESDO UM728 RESMI UN857 LMG UN10 VELIN UN857 PPN UQ73 KORNO UN857 LZR UN871 GDV UN873 IPERA UW43 SVT UW46 KENOX UN741 DIGUN UL435 BUTUX L435 OLDEY AR3 PANAL AR18 DIW J174 ILM J4 CAE STAR KATL so I must use SINCA6.
August 9, 20178 yr That must be an autogenerated route, it certainly is not a realistic one from a dispatch perspective. Looking at it quickly on SkyVector first thing I see is landfall at DIW is via AR18 which approaches DIW from the South! BUTUX is at N18 near W45 which is close to So America than No America. Ugh. The KLM B772 flight enroute right now EHAM-KATL is coming over on the NATS and entering the US at BAF thence Q448 PTW J48 FLASK WINNG1. No way do you want to fly that route given by routefinder.
