August 23, 20178 yr Hi, I am new to pilot2atc and was wondering if you can set a maximum altitude for the autoplan to work to. I am trying to plan a flight from LIMC to LFMN and although I put 90 for cruise alt the autoplan comes back with several waypoints at 120. I want to keep the max altitude at 90. Any Ideas?
August 23, 20178 yr Commercial Member The higher altitude is forced to avoid being below the Min Enroute AGL Altitude. You can reduce the Min Enroute and Approach altitude settings to 0 and it might help this situation. There is a bug in the current version 2.2.2.1 that prevents the unchecking of "Calculate Safe Enroute Altitudes" to ignore safe altitudes, but in the next update, you will be able to uncheck that option and set a cruise altitude to any number you wish, including those that will guarantee ground impact.
