Airports of Norway ENVA elevation problem with FTX

Recommended Posts

Guest

I installed FTX Norway and Airports of Norway. I just landed at ENVA (Trondheim) but there were clear elevation problems: the photoreal was floating a meter above the actual runway and I sunk through the photoreal when I landed. I checked the included elevation data and there is a file from FTX but none from AoN. Still AoN doesn't seem to play well with the FTX elevation data.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

They will say it is a problem with AoN and I don't know if the AoN guy's have a forum. Which is why I am asking this here.

I have AoN. and ENVA from Aerosoft. Also have FTX Global, vector and openlc. Did you run AEC (Airport Elevation Corrections) in Settings?

No, I don't have that option probably because I don't use FTX Vector. Afaik AEC is related to Vector.

In the meantime I found the Norwegian forum where the AoN guys reside (afaik) so hopefully they can help me there.

Problem solved thanks to the guys at the Norwegian forum! Turned out an elevation file from AoN was missing... All is great again now!
