August 26, 20178 yr I have the base package, I was thinking about the 600/700 addon. What is the difference? Is it only the length?
August 26, 20178 yr Not really much different, just the size really but still well worth the purchase. Regards Jason
August 26, 20178 yr Size, weight, pax and cargo load, and lots of things. Mainly for a pilot, 800 and 900 flights tend to be longer I've noticed. Carriers using the 700 tend to do a lot more shorter routes. Also, the 600 and 700 have slower Vr and Vref speeds. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
August 26, 20178 yr Example flight of a 737-800 is EGCC to LIRN. Recently flew Jet 2 in this plane on this route.
August 26, 20178 yr i fly the 600 frequently because it can operate out of shorter fields than the 800. even moreso with the short takeoff options enabled. gives a bit more flexibility with destinations. it's fun to treat it like a big bizjet.. there's also a ton of great repaints out there for 600 and 700s it really opens up your options with more liveries if you're interested in that sort of thing. cheers,-andy crosby
