What is the best ortho source for Alaska, US?

Featured Replies

I ended up deleted all the tile because the BI source photos were all bad.  Any pointer to a good source is appreciated.  Thanks

You can try ARC, but i´m not sure, if it works for the whole State of Alaska.

Have you tried USGS? I know jpeg2000 is a pain to convert but it's something.

It's not a source from Ortho4XP right?

Will try a few tiles to see how they work.  Otherwise I will have to wait for Fokboy's excellent work.  The default, even without ortho is actually pretty good, much better than the P3D default, could be close to ORBX South Alaska.

USGS is USA_2, but I don't know if they cover Alaska, and how the quality is like if they do.

I did the whole western US in ZL16 up to long 103 with USGS (but not including Alaska), and I'm very pleased with the results.
